from spiritual connections to desiderium* (a deep desire or longing; a feeling of loss or grief). the theory of our relationships with women in our communities. we seek closeness yet we lead with fear. fearing rejections, over exertion of self upon another, this creates space for loneliness in our search for our sisters, mothers, and lovers.

through hands we hold and feel, a gateway opens to our souls when we channel one another. we reach and we make ourselves appealing and enticing. yet, until we touch, our souls stay close and continues searching.
